Archaeology Excavation Services (AES) is a family owned business established in 2016. We are proud to offer our services to the archaeological community. With an interest in the work we undertake – always looking to exceed client expectations.

We are not just skilled in excavation and the use of large machinery, but we have a understanding of archaeological needs and challenges. Using sensitivity, combined with precision, always respecting and preserving the history.

Land Striping

Carefully and skillfully striping back the layers to reveal the hidden past. Always ensuring that the archaeological layer is left untouched, whilst creating safe storage of any spoil.

Screening Service

Along side our normal plant hire we off our 14 tonne screening bucket, which can be used to separate soils, stone, roots and other various aggregates, enabling the materials to be recycled and reduce the need for landfill. 30mm, 50mm and 80mm meshes can be fitted to our range of screening buckets.
